Dominico Vandyke Boyd
Inspector · A-Class Master Captain · Justice of the Peace
Captain Dominico is a 24-year veteran of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, attaining the rank of Inspector while serving across Abaco, Grand Bahama, and Nassau. His lifelong passion for Bahamian waters led him to earn both his B-Class and A-Class Masters Captain License (300 tons), and to train alongside the United States Coast Guard — earning six pins in marine operations, hull, and outboard courses.
A certified Open Water Diver and Associate Degree holder in Hospitality Management from the University of The Bahamas, Captain Dominico brings rare depth: the safety instincts of a law enforcement officer, the care of a hospitality professional, and the knowledge of a lifelong mariner. His current vessel is a 2025-refurbished 12-seater fiberglass hull powered by a 200HP Yamaha 4-stroke — fitted with snorkel gear, fishing fighting chairs, and full night lighting for sunset cruises.
